How We Got Started
It was March of 2020 (YES, the year that shall not be mentioned). For 6 years before that, we hosted a weekly game night at a local pizza shop every Tuesday, and all of a sudden, we couldn't anymore.
No more game night. No more cogo with our friends (Cogo is Latin for "to bring together").
We were selling board games out of our garage with porch pickup, and I (Richard) got word from the Lord to open a local retail store. With support from my wife Tracey, we opened Board Game Paradise, a pop-up brick-and-mortar board games and puzzles shop in October 2020 with our own savings and only a 4-month lease (and only allowed to be at 25% capacity).

Now What?
Our game night friends and family helped us paint, build shelves, and unpack boxes. We are so grateful for our community, and we are blessed to be able to serve people right in their homes where they need support the most. 💗
Now, 2 years later, that pop-up has become a staple in our town of Redlands, California and 20,000 customers have been served with an average ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. Our friendly and educated staff of 10 employees are obsessed with gaming and bringing smiles to more faces.
We host gaming events 7 days a week to a wide variety of ages, stages, and interests (like Pokemon, classic board games, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Chess, and many others).
And NOW, we're re-creating that experience that you get when you come in our store, from wherever you live in the USA!
